Bonnarp the village Bonnarp is an old village which never got divided. The farms lay in a row alongside the road. Military activity has been strong in the village through the ages and has helped keep it alive. Bonnarps heed has papers dating back to the 17th century as a military exercise field. During the summers, all the regiments in Skåne came to do their exercises in Bonnarp's heed. The population increased to over 1000 and that gave the farmers a good opportunity to do extra business, including cafés, selling crops, renting out rooms and anything else that was needed. The officers' quarters were placed in our garden until the 20th century. When the airplanes came, the military moved their operation to Ljungbyhed.
